How the activity unfolds

  1. Welcome
    You will be greeted at the meeting point, where our friendly team will welcome you and guide you through the whole process.

  2. Activity presentation
    Before starting, your guides will explain how the experience works: the route, the group dynamics, and what to expect during the descent.

  3. Equipment hand-out
    We’ll provide all the necessary gear: wetsuit, Harness, helmet, and shoes. Our staff will help you get geared up properly for maximum safety and comfort.

  4. Walk to the canyon (5 min)
    Once everyone is ready, we’ll walk together to the canyon.

  5. Safety briefing (10 min)
    Before entering the canyon, your guide will explain the safety procedures, how to move through the canyon, how to rappel using ropes, and how to safely perform slides and jumps.

  6. Canyoning descent in Saxeten Gorge (1.5 h)

    et ready for a playful canyoning adventure! Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll descend the beautiful Saxeten Gorge, navigating natural rock slides, small jumps into clear alpine pools and rappels of up to around 12 meters.

  7. Return and end of the activity
    After completing the canyon, we’ll return to base where you can change clothes, relax and enjoy a well-deserved snack. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase photos or videos of your canyoning experience — the perfect souvenir of your adventure in the Swiss Alps.
